You’ll stay six nights in Brasov, an Old Saxon city, a city full of live, a famous tourist center with its sites such as the Black Church, the Weaver Bastion, Saint Nicholas church, the first Romanian school, etc. In the same time you’ll visit a nice part of Vallachia, the northern region next to the Carpathians - Prahova Valley - where you’ll get acquainted with the wine culture of this region.

DAY 1: Arrival in Bucharest.

At the airport you’ll meet your local guide and driver. Transfer to the 3* or 4* hotel in Brasov. After check-in, you’ll have a short walking city tour. Dinner in the restaurant specialized in traditional Romanian cuisine.

DAY 2: Your first day in Saxon area.

After breakfast we’ll drive to Sighisoara – the city-citadel which is still inhabited, the Rothenberg of Eastern Europe. Here you’ll find a house where the famous Dracula was born. But before arriving in Sighisoara we’ll stop in Viscri - Weisskirch – for lunch in a Saxon style. Here we’ll talk to the mayor who is a Saxon lady and her mother. Also you’ll see what Prince Charles Foundation is doing in this region to save this civilization. Be prepared for an exceptional plum brandy and local wines. Visit to Sighisoara. We’ll drive 20 km further and visit the most important Saxon fortified church, almost 300 years old, the bishop’s residence of the Saxon’s Lutheran church, Biertan. Back to Brasov for dinner.

DAY 3: Sibiu and its Surroundings.

Today we’ll visit surroundings of Sibiu - cultural capital of Europe in 2007. After breakfast we’ll drive about 150km directly to Sibiu over Fagaras (a famous and impressive fortification) and arrive in Sibiu. We start our walking tour about the city, and have lunch in one of the typical Restaurants. On the way back, we’ll visit one of the most beautiful orthodox monasteries in Transylvania, Simbata monastery, built in a typical Brancoveanu style.

DAY 4: Leisure day in Brasov.

Today we’ll have some rest and enjoy a full day in Brasov. Visit of the most important Saxon fortified churches from Prejmer (Tartlau) and Harman (Honigberg). If you want to stay in Brasov you can visit a nice museum located in the old "Weber Bastei", or go by cable car on the Tampa Mountain and enjoy a nice view of the city. Free lunch and free dinner obviously, and the guide and driver will be at your disposal.

DAY 5: Vallachia.

Today we’ll visit the famous Dracula castle from Bran, lately used by Queen Mary and her children during 1918-1938. Then we’ll drive through Prahova Valley and enjoy a lunch with champagne’ tasting in Azuga, visit the beautiful Peles Castle and the Sinaia Monastery in Sinaia. Back to the hotel. Special dinner accompanied with nice music.

DAY 6: Bucharest.

Departure to Bucharest. City tour which includes visit to the Palace of Parliament (former Palace of Socialism during Ceausescu’s dictatorship - the second biggest building in the world after Pentagon), the Patriarchal church, the Village Museum. Check-in at a 4* Hotel. Optional dinner in Dracula’s Club or another elegant Restaurant.

DAY 7: Departure.

Transfer to the airport with your guide.
